IFRD is an annual campaign for womxn motorcycle riders across all cultures of the sport, with the purpose of highlighting and profiling the many numbers of womxn riders enjoying the activity. It is an ALL brands, all forms, and all styles worldwide ride. All riders are invited to take part and join in on the universal ride day action of “JUST RIDE!”
On Saturday the 7th of May we hosted a ride alongside with The Leatherettes to welcome all women riders (TGDNB inclusive) to celebrate International Female Ride day.
On what was quite a gloomy, wet day we had an amazing turnout of over 50 incredible humans. It was so refreshing to see such a varied range moto-junkies; veteran to rookies, vespas & motorcycles of all types, sizes & colours, women of all ages and riders from all corners of Melbourne.
We started the day at 10am by meeting up at our Moto Femmes showroom in Collingwood.
Easey Street was taken over by the roar of motorcycles and women talking all things bikes.

After a good caffeine hit and some light moto shopping we all set off on what was a liberating group ride lead by local girl gang, The Leatherettes.
Thanks to the fabulous corner markers dressed in their flamboyant golden tassels, no one got lost and the ride was smooth sailing ahead!
Stacey took some killer photos on the Yarra Blvd such as the one.
It was a short but pleasant thirty minute ride to 3 Ravens Brewery in Thornbury via some scenic, inner-city, twisties down the Yarra Boulevard.
All up, a perfect ride that was suitable for all experiences and easy enough for us all to stick together as one massive pack hijacking the roads of Melbourne.
We managed to miss the rain and reached 3 Ravens Brewery shortly after midday for a refreshing froffy brewed in house, this humble and welcoming venue was the perfect space for everyone to socialise, make new bff's and talk sh*t about all things bikes.
The kind folk at Royal Enfield Australia were lovely enough to shout this roudy, hungry bunch of bikers pizzas all around, which made the day complete.
